Overview

People are often unaware of services and businesses available in their localities, and small businesses have a difficult time making their presence known. Most SME’s rely on word of mouth and advertising to market themselves, which can be a slow and expensive process.

Our design aims to create a modern user-centric interface that allows users to effortlessly find any service/business, and has business features aimed at increasing reach.

Problem

How can we streamline the discovery process between users and new businessses?

Design Brief

01
Research
To gain a better understanding of the project at hand, I explored and compared multiple competitor websites, such as Yelp, Yellow Pages, etc. to distill the gist of the options currently active in the market, and their features or lack thereof.
02
Design
Our team held brainstorming sessions where we finalized relevant feature sets and project objectives, following which we could foray into designing a prototype. We built wireframes and finalized our designs under the guidance of our mentors. Multiple iterations were conducted at each stage according to the advice provided by them.
03
Prototyping
On finalizing the designs, we moved onto creating a functional prototype for submission to the evaluation panel.

Branding & Design

03

Sketching & Wireframing

Cyclo aims to establish an impactful online presence through a straightforward and easy to use webstore experience. The current design fails to captivate users effectively, resulting in low conversion rates and limited engagement.

Style Guide & Typography

Pagr’s brand identity is characterized by shades of red and white, conveying dynamism, reliability, and accessibility.

Home page & Search

Pagr’s user-centric app streamlines business searches, allowing you to find new and popular establishments with purpose-built features and design choices, delivering a seamless and efficient experience.

Map View

The navigation menu encourages users to explore Cyclo’s different product lines and helps users familiarize themselves with the Cyclo product ecosystem.

Community Features

Feature-rich community spaces were added to the app to help foster user-made communities and allow them to communicate and share in the app.

Filters & Profile

The app offers advanced filters for a tailored experience, allowing you to find exactly what you’re looking for every time you open the app. The filters change dynamically based on the context of the search, allowing for control over budgets, distance, ratings, , cuisine, verification, etc.

Pagr allows you to create your own profile to your liking, and provides a high level of customizability, meaning each profile is unique to its user. Your profile encompasses all your activity on the platform as well as personal details.
